Chadwick's Physiotherapy

At Chadwick’s Physiotherapy, we help people who are being held back by Pain whether it’s recent, persistent or something they’ve been told to “just live with.”

Led by Lesley Harris and a skilled multidisciplinary team, we’ve worked with thousands of clients across both NHS and private settings, treating everything from chronic back and neck pain to joint issues, sciatica and sports injuries.

Most of our clients come to us after trying multiple routes: painkillers, steroid injections, rest, or even surgery. Some have been told there’s nothing more that can be done. Others are simply fed up with being in discomfort every day. What they share is the desire to get back to living their life without pain dominating every decision.

Pain doesn’t just hurt – it limits. It stops people from walking the dog, enjoying a round of golf, or keeping up with friends. It keeps parents from playing with their children, affects confidence at work and steals sleep at night. At Chadwick’s, we understand that pain is never just physical — it impacts your relationships, your energy, your independence and your identity.

We help people get their lives back.

Whether that means guiding someone through recovery after a knee injury, helping them manage a long-term spinal condition, or supporting them in building strength and mobility after surgery, we focus on the whole person and target the root causes – not just the pain. Our team offers tailored physiotherapy and rehabilitation programmes with a hands-on, practical approach and real-world goals.

We’ve helped hillwalkers return to the trails after years of chronic back pain. We’ve worked with a dad who can now play football with his children pain-free. We’ve supported busy professionals who can finally sit through meetings without discomfort. And we’ve made a real difference for self-employed individuals whose livelihood depends on their physical ability.

One electrician was considering selling his business, as he felt unable to fulfil work commitments due to persistent severe back pain. With an appropriate treatment plan, he successfully returned to full-time employment and began coaching his son’s football team without restrictions. Another woman – who had undergone four surgeries on her lower back and lost her job because she couldn’t sit at a desk – is now active again, regularly doing yoga, Pilates and gym sessions. She chose not to return to a desk job, but now she has options. She’s strong, mobile and in control again.

This is what we aim for with every client: real, lasting results that improve quality of life. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice, passive treatments, or short-term fixes. We believe in listening closely, treating what we find, and supporting each person with the time, attention and expertise they need.

So who do we help? Anyone who’s tired of being held back by pain. Anyone who wants to stop relying on painkillers, avoid unnecessary procedures, and start living fully again. Whether you’re an athlete, a parent, a professional, or a retiree, if pain is in your way – we’re here to help you move past it and reclaim your quality of life.

What Makes Chadwick’s Physiotherapy Different?

At Chadwick’s Physiotherapy, we don’t just treat injuries – we treat people. That might sound simple, but in practice, it’s what truly sets us apart. From your very first visit, you’ll notice the difference: longer appointment times, genuine listening and understanding, and a team that takes your goals as seriously as you do.

We understand that pain isn’t just physical – it affects your confidence, your work, your sleep, your relationships and your ability to do the things that make life enjoyable. That’s why we take the time to understand not only what hurts, but how it’s affecting your life. We don’t rush assessments, and we don’t stop at surface symptoms. Instead, we dig deeper to understand the root cause of the problem and build a plan that helps you overcome it – fully and sustainably.

Our approach is holistic and collaborative. We work closely across a team of physiotherapists, sports therapists, and podiatrists to deliver well-rounded care that tackles every angle of your recovery. Whether you’re healing from injury, managing a chronic condition, or struggling with mobility, we look at the whole picture to help you get back to the life you want to live – not just patch things up short-term.

Hands-on therapy is at the heart of what we do, but we go beyond that. Every patient receives a bespoke exercise plan – not a generic handout, but a realistic, personalised programme designed around your day-to-day life. We tailor exercises to work with your routine, so they’re achievable and effective without overwhelming you. The goal is to support long-term results with minimum disruption to your lifestyle.

We also offer advanced technologies rarely found in local clinics, including Shockwave Therapy and Stimpod treatment. These cutting-edge tools help accelerate recovery, reduce pain and support tissue healing in cases where traditional methods alone may not be enough. For patients struggling with persistent pain or soft tissue injuries, these therapies can be game-changing.

Another key difference is our specialist services – including one-to-one pelvic floor physiotherapy. This is an area often overlooked in standard physiotherapy clinics, yet it plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of both men and women. Whether you’re dealing with bladder or bowel problems, postnatal recovery, incontinence, prolapse or pain on intimacy, we offer expert guidance and support in a comfortable, respectful setting. .

At Chadwick’s, we’re not here to sell you sessions or overcomplicate things. We’re here to give you straight answers, honest advice and a clear plan that moves you forward. Whether your goal is to run a marathon, get through the workday without pain, or simply enjoy a walk with the dog, we’ll help you get there with the right mix of care, expertise and encouragement.

So what makes us different? We take the time to understand you. We use advanced tools and personalised treatment. We offer services others don’t and we truly care about helping you live a full, active life again. If you’re ready to stop living with pain and start making progress, we’d love to help. Book online or give us a call to take your first step toward feeling better.
